Lindsey and Kouadjo Bini Engagement Announcement

Lindsey Kaylor, daughter of Tim & Deanna Kaylor of Minot, ND, has become engaged to Kouadjo Bini, son of Koffi & Yaoua Bini of Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire.

Proposal

Bini and Lindsey were out shopping one day and stopped by a jewelry store. We looked at different thing and Lindsey pointed out a ring that she really liked. Later, Bini went and bought the ring and hid it in their home. On July 2nd, 2016 Bini insisted to take Lindsey out to dinner and to get dressed up. She really wasn’t in the mood at all, but decided just to do it to make him happy so that he would leave her alone. We went to Elevation and ended up being the only two in the restaurant. After talking and eating Bini pulled out a little black box and told her that he had a question to ask her. Lindsey frantically goes “Not now Bini. Can we do this later? I don’t want to do this right now!” He then proceeds to get one knee and ask Lindsey to marry him. She of course said yes.

On August 26th, 2016 Bini and Lindsey had their “1st Wedding” at the Ward County Courthouse. Since Bini isn’t from the US there is a lot of paperwork that has to be done. They wanted to get started on it as soon as possible. They decided to get married and then hold a big wedding later for friends and family to attend!

How They Met

Bini and Lindsey met in 2015 while they were both working at Ryan Family Dealerships in Minot, ND. Bini was working in the IT department and Lindsey was working right next door in the Business Development Center. Couple weeks after Bini started at Ryan’s, Lindsey was scrolling through her social media and saw that he was a suggested friend. Lindsey sent him asking if he was the newer IT guy at work. They started talking and found common interests and really hit it off. Eventually they decided to go out to dinner. After many more dinners and hanging out together for a couple months it became “official” and have been together ever since!
