What is your style of photography?

We gravitate towards a photojournalistic style of Wedding photography making sure to highlight the theme of any event we have the pleasure of working at whether that be Boho, Rustic, Elegant, Industrial, or even Vintage; we love to see the creativity and document the couple’s unique style in our photographs.

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business for three years.

Why did you get involved in the wedding industry

Personally, getting involved in the wedding industry wasn’t necessarily a choice as it came naturally to my set of talents in design and photography. The precedent of design had been set forth in traditional wedding design, and it became my goal to make it different.

What makes Arlien Design different?

Arlien Design is different because the inspiration comes from the individual, where as you can certainly pick a previously designed card that represents you - but when your card is truly inspired by you it stands out and makes your event much more special.

We never use the word competition because each photographer in North Dakota offers a different style and atmosphere when taking pictures. Our reviews across multiple platforms reflect, along with our photographs, our fun style allowing the couples’ true personality to be shown in each piece.

How far will you travel to photograph a wedding?

We have covered weddings all across North Dakota ranging from Bottineau ND to Hettinger ND. While we particularly advertise within ND we have traveled to the Black Hills and are even venturing to Mexico next winter with our work.

Do you work alone or do you have a second shooter/videographer to help?

Our company provides a minimum of two photographers to capture the wedding day. A main shooter and second shooter work with the couple long before the big day to answer any questions and make a detailed plan of what their wedding photographs will consist of to make sure nothing is overlooked or missed.

What is your price range?

We offer four main packages ranging from 3 hours to all day coverage for our couple’s ranging from $1030 - $3100. These packages provide a guide when configuring each package to the different couples we serve.

What is Included in your price range?

Each client and package is different, in our standard packages we have options providing disks of images, photobooks, and small to large prints through our imaging lab. When we sit down at our first wedding consultation with the couple we go over every option and what is offered in each package and then decide what they do and do not need for their day.

How far in advance do you suggest booking?

We suggest booking your wedding photographer as soon as you find one that fits your style. The couple will get an instant feel for their photographer when they first meet and the relationship should grow from there. The photographer’s image potential and availability should give you a feel for how working together will feel like. Most couples start looking for their photographer and have a general sense of what images style they want to see as soon as they get engaged and many book up to a year in advance. We start booking up one year to six months from year to year.

What is your favorite part of designing?

My favorite part about designing is the creative process - working with the individual to create something tailored toward their unique style.

What items can you custom design?

Everything is customizable. When we start we give you options, when were finished the design is yours, and one-of-a-kind. The standard wedding suite includes save-the-dates, invitations, programs, and thank-you notes – when you decide to be creative you create the masterpiece. By customizing your design, whether by adding a simple custom envelope to send your suite in, or including an elegant stamped-foiled design, your suite will stand out.

Where do you print?

Printers are chosen based on design and budget. Choosing who prints your design is one of our favorite parts of the process. each printing establishment specializes in a particular area of printing and how elaborate your design becomes will become the deciding factor.

Where do you draw inspiration for your designs?

The inspiration is you! Every design can be the same, but no design should be the same. From Elegant, Rustic, Vintage and DIY wedding designs - each one can be appreciated in it’s own light. No event is the same, and the design of the suite should reflect that.

What do you want to accomplish every time you create a custom design?

Every time we create a design, we accomplish showing your individuality and style. During the creative process we highlight your style and accomplish creating your personalized, custom wedding suite.
